Advice for patients and the public regarding planned Industrial Action: Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 April

22 Apr 2016

You may be aware that Junior Doctors across the country are planning to take part in industrial action next week, Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 April.  Junior Doctors across the city will also be taking part in this action.

NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group would like to reassure local people that the standard and safety of care they receive will not be affected during this time.

We would ask that those with minor illnesses and injuries continue to examine your options and attend the appropriate NHS service for your ailment.  Doctors surgeries, Walk in Centres and Pharmacies are unaffected by the strike.

For information on local walk in centres go to: http://www.liverpoolcommunityhealth.nhs.uk/health-services/walk-in-centres/

More information on the industrial action can be found by going to http://www.nhs.uk/strike/Pages/strike.aspx

Information on local services can be found on the examine your options website.
