EVENT: Public involvement in cancer screening and research

15 Sep 2016

Do you want to reduce the risk of cancer for your family and friends, and know more about how screening detects cancer? Want to learn about the different health inequalities and research in relation to cancer screening?

Then you can book your place at a FREE public event to find out how cancer screening programmes work and the efforts being made to reduce health inequalities, which are the unfair and avoidable differences in people's health across social groups and different population groups.

The event takes place on Wednesday 19 October from 9.30am-12.30pm at Blackburne House, Blackburne Place, Hope Street, Liverpool, L8 7PE.

You will be able to visit information stalls, watch presentations and meet professionals working in healthcare and research.

To book your place, please click here.

If you have any questions, email Pooja Saini on psaini@liverpool.ac.uk or call 07946169335.

Spaces at the event are allocated on a first come first served basis, so book now to avoid disappointment.
