Breathe Freely Events

We are hosting a series of FREE events in the areas of Picton, Everton, Speke and Norris Green. These events will be happening close to you, within your local community and you are free to drop in to speak to our friendly team members and receive free advice and support so that you can become one step closer to better lung health.

The team will be able to talk to you about your lifestyle and how this might be affecting your lungs. For example did you know that being active is one of the best things you can do to take care of
your lungs?

Not only does it make your lungs feel stronger and help deliver oxygen better throughout your body, it can also help reduce your risk of long-term lung conditions such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).

Our Breathe Freely team will be able to give you advice and support on how to start to become more physically active, so you can build this up to reach the recommended levels of 150 minutes per week. Starting out doing just 10 minutes of activity such as walking, twice a day will easily help you to reach this.

It doesn’t matter if you have a lung problem already, or if you have recently experienced any symptoms such as a long-term cough or breathlessness. This event would still be of great benefit to you and can help you to understand what changes you can make to improve your lung health.
