Getting NHS help in Liverpool – translations

Liverpool CCG has developed a new patient information booklet on how to access key NHS services in Liverpool, for use by patients who may face language and/or cultural barriers to doing so – such as international students, asylum seekers, refugees, and those with communication difficulties.

The booklet explains how and when to use services, including:

  • GP practices
  • Pharmacies
  • Walk-in Centres
  • NHS 111
  • Dental Care
  • Hospital A&E Departments
  • Mental health support
  • Sexual health

The booklet is available below in English and 30 of the most commonly spoken languages in Liverpool, as well as British Sign Language (BSL) and Easy Read.

If you work at a GP practice and would like to receive print copies of any of the versions below, or in another language or format not yet produced, please contact us here and specify which formats and what quantities are required.
